A student of Jungian Psychology, Casey regards her work as deeply intertwined with the processes of her psycho-spiritual development and sees her art as a vehicle for navigating the conscious and unconscious realities she experiences through inner landscapes.

Casey has an immense gratitude and great reverence for the imbas forosnai that imbues her with inspiration to create artwork she finds personally meaningful. Lyrical poetry reflecting her internal experience of place comes through for her while out exploring the external world. Striving to work in rhythm with the genius loci (spirit of place) of her surroundings, Casey aims to tap into an experience of connection and belonging through her practice.

Throughout her work Casey includes a variety of Celtic motifs and symbols, carving a place for the memory and veneration of her ancestors as a way to deepening her experience of connection with those who lived in harmonious alliance with the natural rhythms of life, and to whom community was of central importance.
